When to Go:  Spring and autumn are considered good times to go.  Mornings and evenings will be a bit chilly so you will need to pack accordingly.  July and August temperatures average right around 30 Celsius.  For skiing, the winter months are ideal.

Marriage Requirements


Only civil ceremonies are recognized as legally binding in Bulgaria; however, couples can choose to have a religious ceremony following their civil ceremony.  To be married in the country, one of you will need to be a resident of Bulgaria or a citizen.  You will need to apply to wed at the local Town hall no less 30 days before the date of the intended wedding.  You will need to provide photo IDs, birth certificates, and certificate of non-impediment and medical certificates.  To gather more information, please click HERE.
