To wed in Nova Scotia you will need to visit a Deputy Issuer of Marriage license venues which are located throughout the province.  You will need to have with you valid photo ID and your birth certificates.  To obtain the license you will be responsible for a fee of $121.78 Canadian dollars.  The license is good for one year form tits issue date.  You do need to get married in the province.
