Marriage Requirements

To be wed in Sri Lanka you will need to send your wedding documentation no less than two months prior to the intended date of your marriage.  You must provide proof that you are single and free to wed, details of your full names, addresses and occupations, birth certificates, along with the names, addresses and occupations of both sets of parents, and an affidavit confirming your marital status.  If you have been widowed or divorce, or your partner, than you must also provide original relevant documents, no less than five days before the wedding.  To gather more information, please click HERE.
