Suggested modes of wedding transport to complete your wedding celebration
A wedding isn’t complete without the bride and groom driving off into the sunset together. If you’ve gone through the effort of throwing an amazing wedding party, then your chosen mode of transport should be equally as spectacular!
If you plan on hiring a wedding car to drive you from your wedding celebrations to a hotel, or the airport as you jet set off on your honeymoon, then consider hiring a beautiful car such as a vintage Bentley, a Rolls Royce or an open top classic. You may wish to have the car decorated with a traditional wedding ribbon or keep it simple and classy. Some couples choose to have their wedding car decorated with lavish arrangements of flowers. This could look amazing in your wedding photography, but make sure your florist is aware that he/she’ll have to decorate just one more thing before they leave for the day.
If you wish to wow your wedding guests, then how about hiring a stretched limousine! Travel in style in a white or black limo and be sure to have your wedding photographer capture images of you getting into the car and leaving your venue as husband and wife.
You could hire an exquisite sports car to leave your wedding venue in, but make sure that one of you is happy to drive after the long day you both would have experienced. Also, make sure that whoever is going to drive is familiar with the wedding car and can see out of the windscreen; sometimes oversized floral decorations or ribbons can block the view of the driver. If however you’d like a slower, more relaxed mode of transport then why not hire a horse and carriage. A horse and carriage could complete your fairytale day and you could both slowly gallop off to your next destination.
Leaving your venue will be an exciting time for you both, so why not really make it a moment to remember and leave your reception via helicopter. If the grounds of the venue or hotel you choose allow it, then be sure to put this as something to consider on your wedding to-do list.
